Our asparagus has been giving us more of a bounty than our family can eat for several years now. I started my asparagus from seed 13 years ago and planted them in their current location 11 years ago. I think we have been harvesting and eating our asparagus for about 5 years now. It had been neglected this year and is thoroughly overgrown with weeds, yet we have harvested close to 15lbs already and there is plenty more to come! If you like asparagus and can dedicate long term garden space, it is sooooo worth it!
